In 2019, Telford & Wrekin Council declared a climate emergency. It is now working, along with partners, to go carbon neutral by 2030 – and to reduce single-use plastic across the council by 2023!

Telford and Wrekin Plastic Free Taskforce

The Taskforce are using toolkits from Surfers against Sewage to reduce single-use plastics in businesses, schools and community buildings, as well as organising action days and campaigns to spread the word to residents.
